Former BYU cougar Ben Cahoon is in the running to be named to the All-CFL Team. They are currently receiving votes and you are able to cast your vote to be able to help him out in the running. All you need to do is go to CFLallstars.com and click on vote now. Once you are into the playbook you can pick a player which will be “R” for the receiver postion, and click on his name. You are able to vote one time per day, so make your votes count. Ben has been named to the All-CFL team twice before, he has been to the Grey cup 5 times with the MontrĂ©al Alouettes and won the cup in 2002 and was named Grey Cup Most Valuable Canadian.

He has had incredible performances in the CFL and is by far the most impressive professional football player to come out of BYU. Ben was on the 1996 Cotton bowl team who beat Kansas State in incredible fashion 19-15 and finished the season ranked fifth in the nation. Ben has been an awesome additional to both the BYU tradition as well as the CFL.

Below is my favorite, but very rare highlight of Ben Cahoon.

Is he a kicker or a receiver or is he multi-talented?

He’s an amazing receiver, that has the best catch ever in BYU history! I don’t know if you remember or not but he had an incredible diving sideways catch against Arizona State in 1997. He has a bunch of highlight reels for the Montreal Alouettes!
